Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane Celebrates Achievement of JCI International Accreditation
On November 12, 2025, Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane held a grand celebration to mark the official achievement of Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, a globally recognized standard for healthcare quality. The ceremony took place at the hospital’s conference hall in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
The event was honored by Dr. Dr. Phayvanh Keopraseuth, Deputy Minister of Health, Lao PDR, as the presiding guest, alongside Prof. Dr. Chalerm Harnphanich, M.D., Director, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Chief Executive Officer, Asst. Prof. Dr. Somporn Harnphanich, M.D., Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited and Dr. Wattana Parisri, Director of Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane. The ceremony was also attended by representatives from foreign embassies, international organizations, government agencies, private sectors from Thailand and Laos, clients, insurance companies, and numerous distinguished guests.
The atmosphere was warm and filled with pride. Prof. Dr. Chalerm Harnpanich praised the dedication and commitment of the hospital’s management and staff, whose collaborative efforts led to achieving JCI accreditation a significant milestone in the hospital’s pursuit of international healthcare standards.
Following this, Dr. Phayvanh Keopraseuth emphasized the importance of elevating medical service quality to meet international standards and commended the hospital as a key institution contributing to the development of Laos’ healthcare system.
During the presentation of the “The Gold Seal of Approval®”, a prestigious symbol recognizing quality, patient safety, and hospital service standards according to JCI criteria, Dr. Wattana Parisri said:
“Achieving JCI accreditation is not only a success for our hospital team but also affirms our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered medical care according to international standards.
